i requested this portrait for my sister for christmas because her beloved dog olly was quite elderly and didn’t have much time left, and i wanted her to have some colourful decor around the house to remind her of him.
unfortunately he took a turn for the worse and we had to put olly down only a week later, so this gift became more special and poignant.

i was so incredibly happy with the way that han captured olly’s likeness. everyone that i showed the portrait to, including my sister on christmas, was blown away by how cute and unique it was. it wasn’t just a portrait of a jack russell, it was very clearly our beloved olly that we now miss so dearly.
